A couple of years ago I used to do a show called "How Does Your Garden Grow?" A simple, basic show for beginning gardeners. I am happy that a phone company in Yadkinville, North Carolina has picked it up on their cable network and is airing it and I just had another inquiry from another phone company in West Jefferson, NC who is interested as well. And there may be a possibility of it airing near here on another station. I will keep you informed. I thought I might share the link and you can see clips from the show. I have some that haven't been edited yet. If I can keep selling it then we can produce more shows!

A beautiful Sunday we had today! Had to go out and shoot some photos of the tulips - which have bloomed about a month early - before they are all gone. Oh how I love to see them come up in the spring!

This one I couldn't believe! It's like God painted it by hand.

Just got my seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company and can't wait to get started planting! The weather has been unusually warm here and is making me pine for spring! I think we still have some cold weather coming so I can't get too excited. I can start planting some of these  inside to start some seedlings.

Finally finished the window art for the front of this porch.

I never claimed to be an artist, so I just had fun with it!

New project for my little back porch. I have been wanting to do this for some time. I need a place to chill out and enjoy the flowers and birds. So here is the before...

And here is what I have done so far. Still have some more to do but I think I have a great start.

Love this rug so much.

I have decided to grow some new things in the garden this year. Like Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts and Asparagus.  These are cool season veggies, so I have them snug in the ground. I also planted some lettuce and they are growing nicely as well. The cool thing about the asparagus is that it will continue to grow for like 15 years without re-planting. The bad part is I have to wait a full year or maybe two to get my first harvest. But as they say, good things come to those who wait. Here are some photos of the veggies.

Close up of the asparagus. Spread them out so they have room to grow!
