New Men's Product:
I am happy to announce a new product to add to our men's line. We already have "Mr. C" and "Charles" and now we have "Big Daddy"!! I have to tell you the reasons for this name. First of all, it's named after my brother in law who is 6 foot 7 and his grandchildren all call him Big Daddy. Plus the smell is Bay Rum which is the Big Daddy of all men's fragrances, so I thought it was appropriate. Come in and smell this very masculine scent. We have it in lotion and soap. And check out " Mr. C" and "Charles". They make a great Valentine's gift as well!

It's the King of Rock and Roll's Birthday:
Ok, those of you who have known me a while know that I adore Elvis Presley. (I even named my dog Elvis) and his birthday is January 8th. So, I cannot let this holiday go by without doing something. So the week of January 7th will be Elvis Presley week and we will have Elvis music and a special lotion called "Love Me Tender". I may even whip up a batch of peanut butter and chocolate brownies. (I would make Peanut butter and Banana sandwiches but they are only good when served warm and fresh off the frying pan!) Come in and help me celebrate this wonderful, sexy, legendary, incredibly talented, man's birthday.

"Valentines' Day"
Valentines Day will be here before you know it, so during this month I will be putting out some V-day sets of Mizz Kim's Products for him and for her. I will also have some handcrafted valentines cards as well.

Featured Artist:
This month I would like to recognize Sabrina Harrison of AbiNormals. Sabrina makes beautiful pillar candles and hand painted tiles. You may have seen them in the shop, or if you haven't , I hope you will take the time to do so. I met her this summer while doing the Ringgold Market and thought her candles were so unique and wanted to have them in the shop. They make wonderful gifts for someone special or just for yourself.

New Products Coming!
I am excited about the new products that will be coming out over the next few months. I am working on a delightful hand repair kit. If you're like me you are rough on your hands and this will be sure to help. There will also be a new lotion for my niece and step-daughter named "Rachel". I am also working on some products for the face. Of course we will have more fun events coming up as well. And one more thing, I am in the process of working on a new website. So stay tuned for updates!

Summer time is here!
I hope your summer is getting off to a great start! Some changes and challenging things have happened in my life recently, and I am looking forward to the possibilities and wonders that God has in store for me. Handmade Soap is Here!
I am so thrilled to be adding handmade soap to my line! What fun it is to create and even more fun to use! This luxurious bar soap is made from Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Shae Butter! The lather is out of this world and it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth and clean! Each 5.3 ounce bar may look a little bit different as they are hand cut. ( But I think this gives them a unique charm. ) Right now I have scents in Oatmeal & Honey, Honeysuckle, Fresh Laundry, Carrie (Which we’ll get to in a minute) Tuberose, and Chocolate Mousse. (Be careful with this one. You might want to eat it instead of bathe with it!) Each bar is $6.00 and comes wrapped and ready to give as a present or to treat yourself.

"Carrie"
As I mentioned above in my soap news, I have a new scent I am calling “Carrie”. This is for my beautiful niece Carrie Mellinger. The scent is White Tea and Ginger, but she absolutely fell in love with it so I had to name it for her! In fact, the smell reminds me of her. It’s crisp, bold, fresh and lovely! Carrie is a unique young lady. She is studying to be an Elementary School teacher at The University of Arkansas. She has the most vivacious personality and you simply love to be around her! I have 3 more nieces, a great niece, and a step- daughter so you will be seeing more fragrances in the future!
You can get the “Carrie” scent in the Soap, the Hydrating Body Lotion , or the Truly Scrumptious Crème. I hope you will try it. I think you are going to absolutely love “Carrie”. I know I do!

Ringgold Market
Starting this Saturday June 2nd, the Ringgold Market will begin here in my hometown of Ringgold, GA. For those of you who live local or nearby, I hope you will come out on Saturday mornings from 8-11 am and see me. I will have a booth set up with my products. You can also get some wonderful fresh produce from our local farmers! We’ll be located on the courthouse lawn in downtown Ringgold. I hope to see you there!!!

Girls Night Out at the Cafe!
Don’t forget to come by the Chocolate Therapy Café in Chickamauga on June 21st for Girls Night Out. I will be there demonstrating my new Body Buffing Salt Scrub, and I will have a free gift with purchase!! It will be a lot of fun and you can see all of the unique shops in Chickamauga. And, if you’ve never been to the Café it’s a perfect time to sample the wonderful desserts and treats that are there. I hope to see you!

“This N That”
Well for those of you who have grown up in this area I am sure you are all familiar with a great lady we have lovingly called Miss Marcia all of our lives. Her full name is Marcia Kling and she is a local TV icon, and I am honored that she has asked me to be a guest on her show on June 26th! She does a spot on channel 9’s show “This N That”. She will be featuring my Mizz Kim products, so I am overjoyed at this opportunity. Not only to talk about the business ,but to meet this great lady! I will send a little reminder out closer to the time.

JANUARY NEWSLETTER
Happy 2012 Everyone!!
Another year. Another time to reflect on what happened the previous year. And, time for those New Years resolutions! I start the year with high hopes that I will achieve each of my goals, but I have to admit I always have trouble with one in particular - diet and exercise! But, I keep trying anyway, and I guess that's what's most important, right?
I have some definite goals in mind for Mizz Kim's Creations this year and I need your help. I would like to hear from you on some ideas or product ideas you would like to see incorporated into the line. You can just send me an email or respond to this newsletter. It can be something new or some product that you really like that you would like to see expand. I am open for ideas!!!

So far I have been able to contribute $180.00 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation thanks to all of you and your generous support in buying a jar of "Mabelicious"!!! For those of you who bought a bottle of Christmas Melody over the holidays - and I thank you so much - you already know how great it smells and you saw the reactions you received when giving it as a gift. Newsletter for November
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This month is a time to take pause and be thankful for all the wonderful blessings in our lives, and I have so much to be thankful for! My family has had a rough year and a half with my dad being so sick with cancer. But, we are so thankful this year that he is with us and cancer free! Our home town was ravaged by a tornado, but we survived and so did our homes.So, yes there is much to be thankful for. And, I would like to thank all of you for being such great supporters of Mizz Kim's Creations!!!

Something New Just in Time for Christmas!
Introducing "Christmas Melody"! This moisturizing body lotion is in honor of my beautiful sister Melody who absolutely adores Christmas time. She goes all out at Christmas with decorations and presents and makes everything so wonderful! What's so great about Sweet Almond Oil?
According to Spaplayground .com when you walk down the skin care section of your local drug store, grocery store, salon or spa you will see that almond oil is a common ingredient in many skin care products and is often proudly displayed as a primary ingredient. So what is all the fuss about almond oil, why is it so common and what are the benefits of having almond oil in your skin care products?
Almond oil is an excellent emollient and moisturizer. As an emollient it nourishes and softens the skin helping to keep it smooth to the touch. Almond oil is similar in composition to the oil baby's excrete to keep their skin and hair healthy. This composition is beneficial to protecting and conditioning your skin no matter your age. PROMOTION THIS MONTH
For the month of October I am promoting my new “Mabelicious” crème in honor of my mother Mabel Correll who is a breast cancer survivor! This is a way for me to not only honor her, but to try and raise money to fight this horrible disease. Some of you have already purchased a jar, and I thank you so very much! I bet I can get it for you! The body crème is rich and luscious with Jojoba oil, and Shea butter. (The "Mabelicious" creme is a Truly Scrumptious Creme) If you like a luxurious rich crème then this one is for you. The cost for each 6 ounce jar is $12.00. If you prefer something lighter then you will love the “Light and Lovely Body Lotion.” It’s perfect to sit on your desk at work, or by the kitchen sink. WHY IS JOJOBA OIL SO WONDERFUL?
According to the website thejojobaoil.com, what makes it so unique compared to other seed oils is that jojoba oil is structurally and chemically very similar to the human sebum produced by the sebaceous glands in our skin.
It is also extremely safe to use.Jojoba oil is non-toxic, non-comedogenic and non-allergenic. This means that it will not clog pores and will not cause any allergic reactions. It is also not an irritant, so it can safely be used around the eyes ,and on the skin. In addition to that, it does not cause a greasy feeling when used on the skin like other oils do.
Jojoba oil also has a high content of beneficial minerals and Vitamin E.It contains many different varieties of tocopherols which make up Vitamin E and many other natural minerals. Working on something incredibly yummy for a new product!! Scrumptious is in the title, it's creamy, smells delicious, but before you get too hungry, it's not something to eat! Go over to
Tasty Traditions for that! I know you're gonna love it!1
Well here it is. Mizz Kim's new "Bite Me Not" Bug Repellent! It comes in a 4 ounce aluminum bottle and is a light refreshing spray. Made up of a blend of essential oils that those little annoying creatures do not like, along with distilled water, a little blending component called Polysorbate 20 and a little preservative to keep it nice and fresh called Germaben II. Spray on exposed skin as needed. Avoid eye and mouth area. Most important it contains NO DEET. If you prefer an all natural version, I can also make a spray with an oil base. It contains Soy Bean Oil, the same essential oil blend, and Vitamin E. This is a great product for this time of year. Try it along with one of my Cooling Neck Ties while you are enjoying those nice warm days!
Working on a new product for the Mizz Kim's Creations line. I don't know about you, but in the summer time the thing I hate the most are those pesky annoying little critters that fly around in my face - trying to get my attention I guess, and then they try to bite me! So, I am working on a new formula - a more natural way - to send these little creatures on their way. They can find amusement some where else instead of my ankles! Stay tuned.
